Heat tracing accessories

Applications: This box allows to connect end-to-end, on field, a round or flat heating cable to a round power cable.
Material: Polyamide 66 black, total length 93mm. Good UV resistance.
Waterproof grade: IP66.
Terminal block:

  • High temperature ceramic with screw terminals with captive toothed square washers accepting bare conductors.
  • 3 conductors, from 0.5 to 2.5mm².
  • Maximum permissible intensity: 16A 250V.
    Cable clamping: with M24 cable glands, with silicone gaskets.
  • Maximum diameter of round cables: 12,5mm.
  • Size limits of flat cables: from 10 x 3 to 13 x 6mm.
Type: Y25

Heat tracing accessories

Applications: This box allows to connect, with a good ingress protection (IP66). Cable to a round power cable, and providing at the same time the continuity of the power line.
Material: Polyamide 66 black, 96mm x 85 mm. Good UV resistance.
Waterproof grade: IP66.
Terminal block:

  • High temperature ceramic with screw terminals with captive toothed square washers accepting bare conductors.
  • Maximum permissible intensity: 16A 250V. Cable clamping: with M24 cable glands, with silicone gaskets.

Heat tracing accessories

Applications: This box allows to connect, with a good IP66 ingress protection.
Terminal positions provide easy access, wiring is simple, including for braided heating cables.
Material: Polyamide 66 black, 90mm x 67mm x 36mm. Good UV resistance.
Waterproof grade: IP66.
Terminals:

  • Screw terminals with captive toothed square washers accepting bare conductors.
  • Wire gauge: 3 x 1 mm² to 3 x 2.5mm².
  • Maximum permissible intensity: 16A 250V. Excellent cable retention by stainless steel saddles at the 3 ends.
Type: 6YTPEM24

M24 cable gland, short thread, in black PA6

This cable gland has been developed for applications in which the standard M25 model is too bulky. The reduced length of the thread (8.5mm) makes it possible to mount it on enclosures with thin walls, without too much encroaching on the interior space. It has an O-ring to ensure the tightness with the enclosure, and the nut is self-locking. It allows passing cable diameters up to 14mm and also oblong cables used in heat tracing. Made in PA6 UL94V2. Gaskets are available in 65 shore silicone or NBR 70 shore.
Options: Flat external gasket and counter nut in PA6.

M20 cable gland, short thread, in black PA6, IP68

The reduced length of the thread makes it possible to mount it on enclosures with thin walls, without too much encroaching on the interior space. It has an O-ring to ensure the tightness with the enclosure, and the compression nut is self-locking. It allows to pass cable diameters up to 12mm. Made in PA6 UL94V2. Gaskets are available in 65 shore silicone or NBR 70 shore.
Options: flat or O-ring gasket and counter nut in PA6, inside gasket in NKM (Viton).

Heat tracing accessories

Applications: This box with a good IP66 ingress protection. The built-in disc thermostat provides the anti-freeze function.
Material: Polyamide 66 black. Good UV resistance.
Thermostat: rating 16A 230V.
Terminals:

  • Screw terminals with captive toothed square washers accepting bare conductors.
  • Wire gauge: 3 x 1 mm² to 3 x 2.5mm².
  • Maximum permissible intensity: 16A 250V. Cable clamping: with M24 cable glands, with silicone gaskets.
  • Maximum diameter of round cables: 8 or 10mm depending of gaskets used.

Technical over-molding of thermostats

Connecting thermostats to wires or cables is the most critical point in regard to the mechanical strength and resistance to water penetration.
Over-molding improves the mechanical strength of the assembly and provides a good ingress protection to water.
Over-molded thermostat on heat tracing cable. The assembly is waterproof, frost proof, short immersion proof, protects the connection of the power cord to the heating cable. Defrost termination over-molded thermostat. Over-molded junction between cord and heat tracing cable.

Unsheathing and stripping tools

Wire strippers for 2 conductors flat heating cable. Unsheathing and stripping these lat special shape leads is a long and tough work, causing a lot of waste.
We have developed these tools specifically for stripping and unsheathing to reduce these times, and significantly reduce installation times. Each plier comes with a set of jaws.
